As well as writing and publish, I often perform storytellings and create and facilitate creative workshops using crafts, arts and games and play.
I can deliver a more traditional story reading or a compact and imaginative storytelling performance of The Rare Monkey with the Colourful Bottom. I often use storytelling in my work and can bring to life a new or existing story using techniques such as music, puppets, interaction and acting.
I can provide workshops exploring storytelling, crafts, arts and creative games and or acting and movement. My workshops often focus on inspiring creativity, confidence and encourage free expression and play. My experience mainly lies in facilitating workshops for ages 2-15 years, mainly in galleries and schools, but I have facilitated creative workshops for adults also. I always tailor a workshop to a client’s and the participant’s needs.
It’s possible to create a workshop exploring any theme, for any age.
This is a new strand to my work – writing new work for live events, film or audio records. So far I have also performed these new stories too and they have focused on the theme of an event.
