To celebrate their 50th Birthday, the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust hosted their first WildChild Festival. It was a day packed with amazing outdoor activities for children.
For the event, I was commissioned to create a treasure hunt. The aim was to encourage children and adults to explore the Trust’s beautiful 26-acre site and of course, to have fun.
I centred the hunt around local birds currently on the red/endangered list. I created a narrative, maps, activities and clues. The players’ aim was to find the Staffordshire birds missing mystical egg by completing challenges to gain clues and then to follow coordinates.
I thoroughly enjoy creating this tailored treasure hunt.
